October, November, and December's HAP payments will [...] ]]></description><content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class="paragraph">Congress has failed to pass a funding agreement or continuing resolution resulting in a full government shutdown as of 12:01 AM on October 1, 2025.&nbsp;<br /><br />Foothills Regional Housing is not a federal agency and our staff are not federal employees. This means we will not have to cease or scale back operations during a government shutdown, at least in the short-term.&nbsp;<br /><br /><strong>We have been notified by HUD that we are fully funded through the end of 2025. October, November, and December's HAP payments will go out as scheduled.</strong>&nbsp;FRH made the change at the beginning of 2025 to no longer pre-issue HAP payments. This means that FRH processes payments as soon as funding is in our account, with payments typically going out on the first business day of the month. <br /><br />&#8203;It is our hope that congress will find an agreement soon. Current appropriations are adequate to maintain full operations through and beyond another shutdown of this length.</span><br /><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0)">&nbsp;</span><br /><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0)">In any scenario, FRH maintains close contact with our partners at HUD and is committed to finding solutions that cause the least disruption possible to our residents, clients, and landlords.
