In 2024, FRH announced various monetary incentives for our landlords. We were able to offer these because of our MTW status which allows us to use all of our HCV funding flexibly, rather than being required to hold two "buckets" of funding (administration and HAP) like other PHAs.
Unfortunately, in 2025 there has been uncertainty surrounding federal funding for many programs, including the HCV program. We are still awaiting a final budget from HUD for the HCV program for FY 2025. Due to this uncertainty, FRH has made the difficult decision to halt landlord incentives. We are excited to announce the launch of a new corner of our website - the landlord webpage! This page will have helpful information for landlords who already lease to HCV participants and those who are curious about doing so. As many of you know, changes at the federal level have the potential to impact our HCV program so the site will also keep you informed if anything changes - either federally or locally.
