Emergency Home Repair Program
The Emergency Home Repair Program provides assistance to low/moderate-income homeowners in Jefferson County for emergency and essential repairs to their home.

Your home must be in unincorporated Jefferson County, the Cities of Lakewood, Wheat Ridge, Golden, Mountain View, or Westminster or one of the other participating communities in Jefferson County (does not include Arvada residents).

What We Do
The  Program offers homeowners in Jefferson County to make or keep their homes safe, decent, and affordable.

It helps preserve home ownership by offering a means for the low-income to do necessary work without risk of losing the home to unmanageable debt.

Financial Assistance
Qualified homeowners may receive assistance in the form of a grant which does not have to be repaid.

You may also apply for a zero-interest loan which are payed back monthly with up to a 20-year loan term or deferred if you qualify.  This does not include Westminster residents.

Technical Assistance
We will help you get competitive bids and find a qualified contractor who can do quality work at a reasonable cost, prepare the loan and construction documents, inspect work and authorize payments as the work progresses. There is no cost to you for this assistance.

Call 303-403-5423 for more information.  Emergency Home Repair Staff Directory

Who Qualifies?

Your home must be located in unincorporated Jefferson County, the Cities of Lakewood, Wheat Ridge, Golden, Mountain View, or Westminster or one of the other participating communities in Jefferson County. This does not include Arvada.
