Senior Housing

Our Properties
The Communities
Foothills Regional Housing owns and manages four subsidized senior housing apartment complexes. These properties are independent living apartments, however, the properties have Service Coordinators. These positions provide support in navigating Medicare and the health care system, host resident events to keep residents engaged in their community, and serve as a liaison between residents and their property manager, advocating for their needs and mediating issues, as needed.

The properties are located in Evergreen, Golden, and Westminster, Colorado. All units in these properties have private baths with either showers and/or tubs and each unit has a private kitchen with stoves and refrigerators. All buildings have elevators.

Please visit our Senior Properties page to learn more about each property and to inquire about vacancies.
Application Process
Depending on the property you are interested in, you must be at least 55 or 62 years of age and/or disabled/handicapped. You will be required to fill out a preliminary application and then your name will be placed on a waiting list. An applicant’s priority for housing assistance is based upon the time and date of the application and a preference is given to current residents of Jefferson County. When the applicant's name reaches the top of the waiting list, they will be notified in writing.

Due to the nature of FRH’s programs, we are unable to determine exactly how long an applicant may remain on the waiting list. Because of the limited amount of units available, it is impossible to guarantee housing assistance to every eligible person who applies.

Because you will be notified in writing when you reach the top of the waiting list, please be sure to notify FRH in writing of any change in address so that you are able to be contacted.

Maximum Annual Income Limit

The maximum household size for these properties is 3 individuals.

All properties are income restricted, though the restrictions vary from property to property depending on unit size and household size. The table to the right are the 2022 income limits set by HUD.

Please contact the Community Manager of the property you are interested in to determine your eligibility. Contacts can be found on our Senior Properties page.
